The FMS or Functional Movement Screen is a grading system scientifically created to assess movement patterns. Through administration of a FM screen we can determine any asymmetries or limitation that may lead to injury or hinder performance. The FMS consists of 7 tests and can be completed in about 15 minutes. Once screened, a series of simple corrective drills can be assigned to return your body to a better balanced and productive state.

Gray Cook (
Athletic Body in Balance) developed the FMS to aid top level professional and collegiate athletes. This dynamic tool has been adopted by several NFL teams, in fact Jon Torine, Head Strength Coach of the Indianapolis Colts has said the following: "The Functional Movement Screen is the foundation of our program. Everything we do builds off of it. We couldn't imagine not using this program."
